This graphic shows the Death Rate Report for Delaware by County, death years through 2002. There are various text boxes displayed around the graphic that describe different aspects of the report:

- Interpret (link) - displays a text description for the table currently displayed

- Triangles (icon) - sortable columns in the report display a triangle in the header row. Click on a triangle to sort by its column. Click again to reverse the order. The direction of the triangle shows the order (ascending or descending) that the data are sorted in. A filled triangle indicates that the table is sorted by this particular column.
- Linked Geographic Areas (link) - click on a geographic link in the first column to get more information
- Average Deaths per Year (column) - This column refers to the average deaths per year over the rate period. To get the approximate total number of deaths for the time period, multiply the number of years in the rate period by the Average Deaths per Year.
